| Basic Club |
The Basic Club Program was developed by the ATA for students of all ages. Everyone who joins ATA Black Belt Academy is automatically enrolled in the Basic Club. When you are enrolled, you receive the ATA patch to be worn on the right upper chest area of the dobok (uniform). You will also receive the school patch which is won on the left upper chest area of the dobok (uniform). If the student is also enrolled in the Tiny Tigers Program or the Karate for Kids Program, the school patch is placed on top of their Victory Patch.
All Basic Club members can participate in the two weekly color belt material classes. These classes offer instruction in all of the Songahm Taekwondo Forms from white through red belt. Students will also learn self-defense techniques, one step sparring techniques and several life skills (also referred to as "Black Belt Attributes").
