| Master Club |
The Master Club Program was developed by the ATA for students of all ages. Enrollment in the Master Club is by invitation only. Students may speak with their instructor if they would like an invitation. When you are enrolled in the Master Club, you receive the Master Club patch to be worn on the left sleeve shoulder of the dobok (uniform). Tiny Tigers or Karate for Kids members will also automatically receive a new Victory Patch with gold edging if they have not already earned this patch by collecting stars. In addition, they will receive a gold stripe down the middle of their belt at the next promotional belt ceremony.
Most of the time, we package the Master Club together with the Leadership Training Program. As a member of the Master Club, students are already expected to be leaders amoung their peers. By enrolling them in both programs at the same time, it saves a significant amount of fees that are duplicated between clubs. The student also gets to reap the benefits of both programs and sees the respect that wearing a leadership collar brings. Please see the page on the Leadership Program for more information.
In addition to the regular Basic Club classes, all Master Club members receive an additional 15 minutes of instruction at the end of their regular Color Belt Material class. During this additional class time, students will learn how to use their Protech weapons, how to successfully break boards and how free spar. This time is held concurrently with Black Belt Club members, although the weapons and techniques used will be advanced material.
